Position:

We are looking for a RegionalFinance Systems Implementation amp; IC Manager to support DFDL in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Reports to:

Head of the Regional Finance Department

Key external relationships:

Service providers and external consultants

Key internal relationships:

Regional Finance team and Regional IT team

Primary Responsibilities of the role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the transformation that is necessary for ultimate adoption of the upgraded financial system. This requires the ability to understand and champion DFDL reporting and business goals for finance, which will lead to improved internal controls and better and faster production of reports and response times across DFDL and its holding company.

Main duties of the role:

  • Liaise with external consultants, IT department and the Head of the Regional Finance Department during the training and implementation stage of the add-on modules for Aderant Insights, time and billing, and GL modules;
  • Gain thorough understanding of the current reporting processes and replicate the vital reports in the new system, both in DFDL format and mapped into the ultimate holding company format.
  • Roll reports out to all offices and make constant improvements during the process;
  • Start the implementation of statutory reporting on Aderant ledger 1 in DFDL’s Vietnam Office and Laos Office;
  • Gain a clear understanding of the differences between statutory reporting and IFRS reporting in both jurisdictions where DFDL offices are located;
  • Replicate the government required reports in both Laos and Vietnam so that the dual system approach is eliminated;
  • Improve finance systems controls and ultimately internal controls for the DFDL group.
  • Develop reports for time an billing to help each head of DFDL’s Business Units utilize the improved functionality of the DFDL group; and
  • Train local accountants in production and development of financial reports.


Requirements

  • Holds a university degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant and demonstrated IT amp; Finance experience gained in a large commercial environment, ideally in the professional services industry;
  • Current knowledge of financial internal control best practices and the differentiation between local statutory financial statements and IFRS;
  • Highly proficient in English;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Analytical skills: ability to comprehend complex data and strong numerical capability to support budgeting processes and financial analysis activities;
  • Quality focused: a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Flexible in approach: ability to balance priorities and to deliver multiple tasks under pressure within a demanding environment;
  • You are able to work independently, to enjoy taking initiative and to complete work autonomously; and
  • Hands-on mentality: willingness to work hands-on with the finance team when necessary.
